Daniel’s Den Is Closing January 2013.

Dear Daniel’s Den Family and Friends,

We want to thank all of you for the wonderful support you have given Daniel’s
Den for the past eleven years of our ministry. We have developed close ties
and friendships through this ministry and are so thankful.

The purpose for this letter is to inform you that Daniel’s Den will close at the end
of January 2013. This difficult decision has been made after many months of
prayer and discernment. On Saturday 1/19/2013 at 7:30 pm we will be holding one
more concert - a farewell concert, and would love to see you there where we can
celebrate 11 years of memories and ministry with a potluck dinner and praise
and worship. Please bring a dish to pass.

Our lives have completely changed since the opening of the Den. Dave operated
the Den for 6 years; Matt has operated it for 5. Anita has had to take a full time
job outside of the ministry due to her husband, Dave’s death in January 2008
leaving her with no household income. Leslie and Matt, who only had one
child when we opened, now have six  beautiful blessings. Leslie will return to the
bookstore with an infant and toddler - 2 in grade school, 1 in middle school, and
1 in high school, all while trying to run the business and maintain her
household’s responsibilities. Matt is still taking college courses, working full
time, and busy as the head of his household - where he is the first to recognize
that the kids are quickly growing up and bringing more and more extracurricular
activity needs to the family. This ministry consumes a lot of time and attention;
the booking of bands for the Den, concert promotion, stocking the coffee bar,
bookkeeping, and cleaning the Den. This is time that we, as a family, do not have
to give any longer. Considering all of this we have prayerfully discerned that it
is time to end our involvement in this ministry.

We believe, however, that there is still a purpose and need for the Den’s ministry
in this community. We recognize that our family can no longer operate it efficiently
or properly but we pray that the concert center does not have to permanently
close its doors. So, we are looking for someone to purchase the business and
its assets. We pray for someone who has a head for business and a heart for
ministry. Because the Den has been established for eleven years, it would be a
great purchase for an individual, an established ministry or a group of investors.

As far as the Bookstore, at this time, we will, with everything we have to give,
continue to financially and physically operate On A Wing and a Prayer bookstore
as we have been called to do - however, we do understand that the bookstore-
concert center combination compliment each other, therefore we would not be
opposed to consideration of selling the two as a package deal.

If, through much thought and prayer, you feel that you might be interested in
purchasing Daniel’s Den, or know someone who would be interested in the space,
please contact us. We would be happy to meet with you. You can contact Anita or
Matt and Leslie via email, by phone or in person, to set up a meeting to discuss
anything you would like to know. Our email address is info@onawingandaprayerinc.com
or info@daniels-den.org.

Again, we cannot thank you enough for your continued support through both
continued patronage and prayer. Keep us in your prayers as we venture on this new
journey of our lives. See you on the 19th!

In Him,
Anita Eversole - Owner
Leslie  Lenhardt - VP
Matt Lenhardt - General Manger, Daniel’s Den
